A 17 Hectare (42 acre) estate with formal gardens, orchards and woodland...
How agreeable it is to wander through these gardens, full of elegance and nature. The Clenord Manor estate is a broad space which revives the spirit and which shows the visitor several different faces.
To the South of the manor house, are the formal gardens ("jardins a la francaise"), whose simplicity reinforces the estate’s discreet elegance. On the left a wide walk between linden trees leads us gently to the Clenord Muse, a symbol of the gentleness of the surroundings.
Dotted about in the formal gardens, orchards remind us of nature’s bounty. And the swimming pool is close by, created for B&B guests as well as those in the gîte. And then a little further away, there is the tennis court.
To the North of the manor house, woodland reigns supreme. Dense and vigorous, it extends for miles into the Russy State Forest which is the oxygen giving lungs to the South of Blois. Clenord Manor, just like the nearby Chateau de Beauregard is in fact right at the southern edge of the Russy Forest.
